I strongly believe in alternative dispute resolution, especially when children are involved in a family crisis or divorce. I work with my clients to help resolve issues rather than escalating them. Both mediation and the collaborative process can be used to resolve any aspect of divorce, modifications, or even most contempt actions for both once married parents and never married parents. If I am your mediator, I will help you have a conversation so that both parents are able to express their thoughts and opinions and you will be able to work together to come to an agreement that works best for both parents and most importantly for your children. If I represent you in the collaborative process, I will help you to understand the law and know what options are available so that you may best voice your opinions and desires during conversations with your spouse and his/her attorney. I look forward to working with you to help reduce the conflict in your life.

Our relationships comprise one of the most important bases for our happiness and mental well-being. Psychotherapy can help when there is disharmony with partners, family or friends. I work with couples, siblings, parents and children or friends. If other members of a relationship are unavailable or unwilling to come in, therapy can still help resolve problems. Sometimes, despite our best effort, a relationship may need to end. I work with a new model called, “Discernment Counseling” to clarify this and, if necessary, I help individuals and families navigate the challenges that occur during break-ups and divorce.
