I strongly believe in alternative dispute resolution, especially when children are involved in a family crisis or divorce. I work with my clients to help resolve issues rather than escalating them. Both mediation and the collaborative process can be used to resolve any aspect of divorce, modifications, or even most contempt actions for both once married parents and never married parents. If I am your mediator, I will help you have a conversation so that both parents are able to express their thoughts and opinions and you will be able to work together to come to an agreement that works best for both parents and most importantly for your children. If I represent you in the collaborative process, I will help you to understand the law and know what options are available so that you may best voice your opinions and desires during conversations with your spouse and his/her attorney. I look forward to working with you to help reduce the conflict in your life.

NSCMC, through collaborative efforts, raises public awareness of the value of mediation and alternative dispute resolution methods as vehicles for resolving personal differences and diminishing conflicts in society at large.
Community mediation is a valuable resource for couples struggling with the challenges of separation. Our specially trained and experienced panel of 15 family mediators can guide couples through the many aspects of the separation and divorce process. Using an income based sliding fee scale and flexible scheduling, NSCMC is committed to making our services accessible to all segments of the community.
Mediation is especially helpful to separating couples who have children because it provides a constructive approach to future communication based on the child’s best interests. To that end,
NSCMC participates in the MA Office of Public Collaboration’s Parent Mediation Program for which qualifying couples can use up to 4 hours of free mediation time to resolve disputes involving child access, visitation, and parenting plans.
